Skin Analysis Scanning
Learning about your skin is essential before you start using products or having treatments.
We partner with Environ to run skin events which provide a free face / skin scan, image analysis and a tailor-made treatment prescription based on your results. We use a camera unit to send high quality images to the computer for analysis. The computer calculates both standard and UV photos, using the results to plan and monitor the use of anti-ageing treatments and products that we use in our clinic.
The sessions are a 45-minute skin analysis, or 30 minutes for clients that have returned for an updated skin analysis.
What happens during the face scan session?
We use advanced skin analysis technology to look at problem areas below the surface of your skin. These areas are often forgotten about, as we tend to focus on the skin that we can see, when the cause of the problem quite often lies in the deeper layers of skin.
A photographic image is taken to clinically measure the surface and subsurface facial skin conditions. Using a state-of-the-art scanner, 3 separate lights will capture multi-spectral photos to examine the complexion for lines, spots, pores, texture, bacteria, photo damage, acne and pigmentation.
This picture of your skin identifies any concerns such as dehydration, uneven texture, redness, congestion, etc.
We’ll also go through your current skincare routine and guide you towards improvements that you can make to your routine to help with your skin concerns. We recommend to have another free skin analysis three or six months later, so that you can track your skin improvements.
This is suitable for all skin types and is recommended at the beginning and during your skin care treatment journey, to assess the progress at all stages.
